An original head and shoulders portrait [by Cuthbert Orde?], 1941, pencil and black crayon on textured paper, unclearly initialled and dated at foot, 26.5 x 21cm, tipped on to mount, framed and glazed, together with Reach for the Sky Preview, circa 1956, a double-sided 33rpm LP record by Les Wise Recording Studios, Adelaide, blue and white label with typed title and stamp of Clem Taylor Advertising Service Ltd., record surface with numerous scratches, original plain brown paper sleeve, frayed, plus three related books, one biography by Laddie Lucas signed by author and Bader. The portrait is near-identical to the one by Cuthbert Orde in the Imperial War Museum with identical caption at head and this may be one of several made at the same time. This portrait was purchased at the Bader auction at Phillips in 1989. (5)
