The only edition of this sumptuous souvenir of the festivities given by the city of Paris in honour of the wedding of Louise-Elisabeth, daughter of Louis XV, to the son of Philip V of Spain. The celebration was held along the Seine between the Pont Royal and the Pont Neuf, and on an island in the river which had been specially constructed for the purpose. The celebration included a magnificent firework display and a Grand Ball at the Hotel de Ville.
