Donovan arrived in Cape Town in the Spring of 1893 with the principal intention of finding things to shoot, as he says, but soon enough found himself among Jameson’s forces bent on suppressing the rebellion of the Matabele... not that there's much distinction here. A near Fine copy. Scarce.
