Cased pair of British H. W. Mortimer percussion dueling pistols, approximately .60 caliber, with three gold inlay bands on barrel with a gold makers medallion, nicely checkered walnut stocks with bag grips terminating in a shell carving, the locks inscribed in script H. W. Mortimer, with scroll engraving on barrel tang and trigger guard which has a gold inlaid escutcheon, inscribed Willing, the trigger guard with an engraved pineapple finial, in a fitted walnut case, bearing the original Mortimer label, a leather powder flask, cleaning rod, lead balls and percussion caps, 10" octagonal barrels. Condition:Good overall condition, both barrels turning brown, handling marks to stocks, gun #1 lacking the ram rod, 3" crack in forestock at barrel pin, case missing bullet mold.
