CHARLES MERYON (1821-1868) Le Pont Neuf, Paris (Delteil-Wright 33) etching and drypoint, 1853, on laid paper with an unidentified watermark, the seventh state (of nine), with margins, pale light- and mat staining, a 1-in. tear and made-up areas at the lower left sheet corner (with a few associated losses), hinge and glue remains in places at the reverse of the sheet edges (slightly showing through), otherwise in good condition P. 7¼ x 7¼ in.
