8mm caliber, 25" barrel, S/N 456. Mismatched bolt. Forward of bolt marked with Weimar Republic "1920" stamp over Imperial German crown and Erfurt name with original "1915" manufacture date. Receiver also marked with obliterated "7.91" over "7.93." Right of receiver forward of bolt marked with three Imperial German proof marks including a "revisor committee" stamp over the hardness proof, indicating it failed the initial test and was sent for re-inspection. Left side marked with serial number and "KAR98" along with serial number. Includes reproduction leather sling. Condition: Very good condition. Most of the re-blued barrel finish remains with a dark gunmetal gray on receiver. Bolt has some some darkening. Stock has light marks and marring due to age. Bore good.
