Pauls Church-yard, 1678. ⁂ Rare paper by Grew, presented by him to the Royal Society in April and June 1676. Grew describes the results of a series of experiments concerned with the reactions produced when certain 'menstruums' or 'liquors' were poured onto a wide variety of animal, vegetable and mineral substances, giving an insight into the nature of substances.
