It is difficult to detect restoration under UV light due to the presence of a thick grey-green varnish but one can see inpainting along the stretcher bar marks and scattered about as a means to reduce the appearance of craquelure. There is a 1 x 1/2 inch spot of inpainting at the center left edge and a larger, 4 x 1 1/2 inch area of restoration near the center bottom edge towards the right. This larger spot has a corresponding glue patch on the reverse of the painting. Craquelure and frame rub.
