The witch doctor gets revenge by turning King into a lion just in time for another hunter to blow him away. According to one comics historian, stories of this sort, "combining racism, sexuality, and violence, presented the United States as culturally insensitive and oblivious to the true history, cost, and legacy of chattel slavery." — Paul S.
