Hand-coloured engraved map by Ash, Spear and J.T., hand-coloured contemporary manuscript key-map showing the eight sections pasted inside front cover, on the endpaper facing a manuscript explanation of the composition of the map (a few blank corners frayed or cut away, occasional light discolouration). Contemporary half calf (worn). FIRST EDITION, issue dated 1799, of this fine map of London at a scale of twenty-five inches to the mile. This belongs to the same issue as lot number 335 with no list of subscribers on G4.
