[Vienna: Printer of the 1482 Vocabulista (Stephen Koblinger?), after 6 January 1485]. Chancery 4 o in half sheets (229 x 159 mm). Collation: [1] 4 (1/1r text). 4 leaves. 34 lines. Type: 1:86G, printed calligraphic capital I on 1/1r. (Spot on 1/3v partially obscuring four letters.) Unbound, in folding cloth case. Provenance : Graf Konrad Reuttner von Weyl: sale, Bloomsbury Book Auctions, 31 October 1985, lot 187. The subject of the bull was the canonization of Duke Leopold of Austria. The printer, the first in Vienna, started work in 1482 when he produced several dated books, and his type continued in use at least until the present text was printed, probably early in 1485. According to the annotated edition of BMC, two states of each half sheet are known; some have a guide-letter in place of the printed initial found here, and there are minor variations in setting.
