[2]: "From the earliest days of printing, since the incunable period itself, deluxe copies of printed books were issued on parchment or vellum... Over the centuries, papers of other colours, such as green, rose, grey, yellow or orange, were occasionally used for printing special copies of Hebrew books... In a few places in western Europe, and mainly in Amsterdam, blue or coloured papers continued to be used for deluxe copies of Hebraica during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries."
