(17 1/2 x 12 1/2 in.), contemporary git-panelled calf, spine gilt, g.e., rebacked with original spine laid down, one corner restored, corners and board edges rubbed, on mounts throughout, in vol. 1, slight marginal dampstaining to title-leaf, plate 6 with repair to edge of platemark, the two sheets of folding plate 27 slightly misaligned, obscuring a bit of the image and caption, folding plate 25 in vol. 2 washed and resized and with a 2-inch internal fold tear and several repaired tears, a few short marginal tears and fold breaks, some repaired, slight discoloration to a number of leaves, especially in vol. 1, some browning at central folds from acidic mounts, scattered marginal foxing; unboxed . Kneller and John Riley respectively, not present in many copies, Oxonia with engraved privilege leaf, each with engraved title, dedication, prefatory and index leaves, 40 double-page engraved plates (one folding) in the first volume, 30 (2 folding) in the second volume, by David Loggan comprising general views of the city, a map, views of the colleges and a few interiors.
