Rare Colt Special Combat Carry from the Colt Custom Shop with 3 tritium sights (tritium depleted). Appropriate Special Combat Government rollmark on right side of slide, rear cocking serrations. Lightened commander style hammer, serrated slide release, safety, magazine release, skeletonized three hole trigger, and front strap. Knurled flat mainspring housing. Extended grip safety. Blackwood (ebony?) grips with golden medallions inlaid. Stamped "CCS5" for Colt Custom Smith #5 under left scale. Accompanied by correct Colt cardboard blue box and Colt white shipping sleeve with Custom shop end label identifying this gun by serial number as "SPECIAL COMBAT GOVERNMENT .45 ACP., 5" BBL., ROYAL BLUE FINISH WITH BAR-DOT SIGHTS CARRY MODEL". CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the royal blue finish with some very minor marks from handling and storage. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with strong rifling and some minor frosting in grooves. Box is very good, sleeve with some minor age related distress but complete.
