McLaren F1 team presentation glassware and 1990s memorabilia , including two Dartington lead crystal decanters featuring the McLaren motif, one bearing the legend: In Recognition of Winning the 1990 Formula One Drivers & Constructors World Championship, the second: In Recognition of Winning the 1999 Formula One Drivers World Championship, a small desk clock set in opaque Dartington crystal in the form of a truncated, stepped pyramid, bearing the legend: McLaren Fourth Consecutive Drivers & Constructors World Championship 1991, white circular dial with gilt metal surround and black Roman numerals, quartz movement, a Mercedes-Benz Collection West McLaren no.7 wristwatch, still boxed, three West McLaren no.8 Schweppes chromed metal drinks bottles, two McLaren-Mercedes 'Silver Arrow' F1 music CDs, six McLaren-Mercedes produced video tapes, 1997 to 1999, a boxed 1:43 scale MP4/14, four McLaren published books: the McLaren-Mercedes MP4/13, the Official 1997 Race Record in slipcase (two copies) and McLaren-104 wins, Christmas cards from McLaren Directors, the earlier ones signed by Ron Dennis, Bob Illman, Martin Whitmarsh and others, a 1992 McLaren F1 road car sales brochure, six coloured enamel pin-badges depicting the helmets of Senna, Prost, Hakkinen, Moreno, Dalmas and Blundell (qty.) Appendix Property of a F1 racing mechanic (lots 708 & 709) Phil 'Sailor' Boore joined the Frank Williams F1 team in 1974. Two years later it became Walter Wolf Racing and, as the team's 'tyre man', he worked with Jody Scheckter and Keke Rosberg. In 1982 he joined McLaren and spent the next 18 years looking after the likes of Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard. He eventually retired in April 2000 having contributed to no fewer than nine Formula 1 Drivers World Championships. Where applicable the following lots are sold with the approval of McLaren International.
