Exhibited : Grolier Club, 'This powerfull rime,' 1975, no. 17. FIRST COLLECTED EDITION. More was the most celebrated of the Cambridge Platonists. Roger Daniel had already printed A Platonick Song of the Soul in 1642, here revised and enlarged as "Psychozoia Platonica," and Democritus Platonissans in 1646. A number of the shorter poems are here printed for the first time. When Roger Daniel's patent was shortly afterwards cancelled in favour of John Legate, More turned to the London trade for the printing of his later books.
