NICHOLAS I -- Otchet Ober-Prokurora Sviateishago Synoda za 1852 god . [Summary of the Report by the Holy Synod for the year 1852]. St Petersburg: Synod Press, 1853. 4° (241 x 153mm). (Very occasional scattered spotting and light browning.) Contemporary green morocco, gilt and dark green tools and spine in compartments, white moiré silk doublures, gilt inner dentelles, gilt edges (small area of discoloration on front board, remainder of paper label on spine, endpapers stained and edges slightly torn, hinges starting, extremities rubbed). Provenance : ?Imperial Hermitage Library (binding) -- Paul M. Fekula. ALMOST CERTAINLY FROM THE IMPERIAL HERMITAGE LIBRARY bound in green morocco and with white moiré silk doublures and gilt edges. Includes tables of statistics ranging from the number of churches built throughout the Russian Empire in the last year, to records of births, deaths and marriages by eparchy, as well as accounts. Fekula 1581 (this copy). Evangelie . [Gospels]. St. Petersburg: s.n., November 1859. 8° (200 x 138mm). Text printed in black and red. Five full-page chromolithographs with gilt. (Staining to top edge of last few quires, mainly marginal scattered light browning and spotting.) Contemporary morocco with all-over metal bosses, and metal corner-pieces, spine tooled in compartments, metal clasp with intials 'V.M.', burgundy silk doublures, gilt inner dentelles, edges burgundy and with gilt crosses (extremities rubbed).
