The top panel includes a paper insert identified to Gladine Miller; attached to red, white, and blue silk ribbon adorned with Ohio's official state flag; attached to cello disc, 1.75 in. dia., featuring portrait of Minerva, the Roman goddess of war, wisdom, and the arts and trades. Reverse marked "Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, NJ." Condition: Light toning to cello disc; tarnish on reverse side of disc. Ribbon with some soiling, fraying along bottom portion.
