life titled, "Still Life, White Carnations". The piece has a gallery sticker from Kraushaar Galleries on Madison Avenue in New York on reverse. Robert L. La Hotan was born in 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio and studied at Columbia University and was a Fulbright Fellow to Germany from 1953-55. His pieces have been exhibited in the Corcoran Biennial in 1957, the Dallas Museum of Contemporary Art in 1958, and many others. The painting is in very good condition with only some crackle to the lower right quadrant. Site: 36.25"H x 40"W; Frame: 37"H x 40.75"W. Circa - 2nd half 20th C.
