Lot of 4, featuring: Cabinet card of the Tocci brothers with imprint of Obermiller & Kern, NY. These Italian born conjoined twins were the inspiration for Mark Twain's short story Those Extraordinary Twins. Born sometime around 1875, they lived until 1912. 3 real photo postcards, 2 of which show a wild-haired man with a long beard and large hoop through his nose, possibly a performer; and portrait of a bare-chested Tarzan lookalike. Condition: Tocci brothers cabinet card in very good condition. Few light spots. Pencil identified on verso. Real photo postcards with some slight surface loss, especially along right and left edges.
