Windmill Steam Toys. Comprising: 1) Doll (Germany) Tinplate Windmill finished in green with 4 red sails. Height 8”/20cm. Two sails have been re-fixed using solder, otherwise Good. 2) Bing (Germany) Tinplate Windmill with 4 sails. Tin printed building with green base, brown sails and brown roof. Height 6.5”/16.5cm. Some wear but generally Good. 3) Kraus (Germany) Dutch Windmill. Tin printed façade with mechanism concealed to rear. Comic tinplate miller figure drives laden donkey round through hedge and then back out of the windmill. Height 9”/23cm. Lacks two sails and another re-fixed, otherwise Good for display. 4) Tinplate Windmill with water trough and bucket wheel. Maker unconfirmed, probably German. Height 7”/18cm. Some paint loss. Fair to Good. 5) Large Tinplate Windmill on base with pond. Probably German. Height 10”/25.5cm. Extensive paint loss and top of windmill is detached from base. Poor. 6) Bing (Germany) Windmill. Early example but lacks sails. Replacement roof. Height 9”/23cm. Fair. (6)
