Manufactured 1926. half moon front sight, beveled flat top U notch rear sight. Barrel with "S" in front of lug. "G" subinspector on top of bridle near disconnector hole. Spurred checkered hammer, safety, slide release, magazine release, and long smooth faced milled trigger. Long 1911A1 grip safety, smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop. 2 tone magazine with "COLT / 45 AUTO" on baseplate. Truncated diamond checkered walnut grips. Barrel chamber and feed ramp have been polished. CONDITION: Very good retaining the vast majority of the Colt factory blue with some age related speckling throughout and some normal marks from handling and use. Some silvering at reciprocating areas. Particular areas of loss on right side of slide running through rampant Colt logo and rear of slide. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with strong rifling and frosting.
