(15 15/16 x 11 5/16 in.), modern brown morocco panelled in blind, double-page woodcuts obscured in gutter from tight lining, lacking fols. CCLVIIII-CCLXI (blank except for printed headlines), blank leaf 55/6 (following the supplement on Sarmatia) and 2 final blanks, title-leaf probably supplied from another copy, with lower and inner margins renewed and a few small wormholes, fols. VI, XI (both with upper margins damaged and repaired), CCLVIII, and last 3 leaves (including Europe map) also supplied, these last 3 leaves wormed, Europe map repaired with slight loss, with upper margins extended and fore-borders cropped, fols. 1/3.4 rehinged, most leaves in quires 2 and 3 with gutters dampstained and repaired, inner margins of a few other leaves strengthened, repaired tears to fols. II, VI, and XI, repair to corner of fol. XIIII with loss to a few words, 2 headlines shaved, a few other minor marginal repairs, small dampstain to lower inner margins in second half, occasional small stains, obscuring a few words on fol.
